Ivy is a Florida based artist, originally from Northern New Jersey, a Jersey girl. From a young age she loved to create and challenge herself artistically. In school she took every available art class learning with different mediums, and after graduating settled on the profession of architectural design, which evolved into creating through her own construction and design business for 16 years with her partner.

Ivy moved to Florida in 2013 when her dear friend, and snowbirding parents, convinced her to make the change. She found a new love of the water on the Gulf, and the diverse culture to be a wonderful change from the cold winters up north.

In 2020 when covid temporarily shut things down, she became a full-time silicone mold creator for the resin art industry. She found resin art in 2019 but by the end of 2023 learned how to create art with Holographic effects incorporated into her pieces. Using this technique gives her art movement and explosions of color, which to her can be mesmerizing with the changing of the light, colors and density.

In addition to the holographic art, Ivy's love of the water has drawn her to also create art that replicates water. Creating with resin allows the light to filter through her pieces as if dancing off the sandy bottom below, or mimicking the turbulent waves during a storm, and she also incorporates color-shifting holographic effects to some water art pieces, making them unique to her style.

All resin artworks are one-of-a-kind.
